Our People

We are very sad to say goodbye to our early child program facilitator/educator Mireille Martinez. Mireille was instrumental to the founding of Coworking Parents Studio. She believed in this humble idea and helped make it happen. She will be missed dearly by our members and their kiddos.

January 2019 we will be welcoming  Sameeha Salih as our new educator for our play space.

Sameeha is an energetic and positive early childhood educator. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in International Development Studies and Environmental Science. Her love for advocating for children started from a young age as a Student Ambassador for Kids Help Phone. In University she began advocating for children’s literacy worldwide with Students for World Literacy. She has experience working as an early childhood assistant with Royal City Cooperative Preschool where she loved working with the preschoolers attending the Monday, Wednesday and Friday program. She is a loving mother of two and an active member in her community who attends child and family meetings at Shelldale Centre and fundraising and event meetings at Onward Willow.

I am Dana Greenlaw, the owner of Coworking Parents Studio. I am a  lawyer by profession and the mother of two young boys (9 months and 4 years old). I moved back to Guelph a year and a half ago  (after 19 years away) to raise my children and be closer to my parents. Guelph is an amazing community for families and I am so lucky to raise my children here.

The concept of Coworking Parents Studio was informed by own experience as a telecommuter and mother. In my opinion, there are simply not enough alternative child care sources for people who do non-traditional work.

I hope that our space can become a hub for parents; a place to meet, share ideas, collaborate and ultimately empower families and our community.
